Blood Sugar Control In Diabetic Patients Best Promoted By Protein Rich Food Sources

Patients of type 2 diabetes could maintain best sugar control through rich protein food without any other side effects.
The concern research is presented in annual meeting of European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) and the credit of research goes to Mariya Markova, German Institute of Human Nutrition (DIfE), Charité University Medicine, Berlin, Germany, and colleagues.
In research is programmed over 37 people with the victim of type 2 diabetes and they suggested for intake either high animal protein rich sources or plant protein rich sources for 6 weeks. A number of tests performed pre and post diet intake and as a result scientist founds improvement in liver enzyme tests common in both groups (victim of animal protein intake and Plant protein intake).Apart from this liver fat of both victims reduced, and sensitivity for insulin only increase in victims of animal protein sources and in another way victim of plant protein sources show in reduction of plasma creatinine and improvement in kidney function.
According to researcher:
"In diabetic subjects, the 6-week high-protein diet leads to an improvement in glucose metabolism and decrease in liver fat independently from the protein source. The high-protein diet has no adverse effects on kidney parameters, moreover the kidney function actually improved in the plant protein group."
