The role of Probiotics in boosting health are highly influenced by type of Probiotics we intake. Research Published in Applied and Environmental Microbiology, Journal of American Society of Microbiology.
The Researchers unlocked a new thought while working on sample Probiotics strain Lactobacillus casei BL23 in a mouse model of colitis and find that mice that ingested Probiotics with milk has reduced symptom than the mice that ingested Probiotics without milk.
According to Researcher:
"Our findings indicate that the manner in which a Probiotics is delivered--whether in food or supplement form--could influence how effective that Probiotics is in delivering the desired health benefits,"-Dr.Maria Marco, Associate Professor, Department of Food Science and Technology, University of California.
According to Original Research:
Dairy products are the most popular food matrices for Probiotics strains. "Remarkably, the question of whether it makes any difference to consume Probiotics in dairy products rather than other foods or nutritional supplements has not been systematically or mechanistically investigated in clinical or preclinical studies.
"This did not significantly alter the populations or diversity of the resident gut bacteria, suggesting that the benefits of the Probiotics involve a direct effect of L. casei, or of a metabolic product of these bacteria upon the intestinal epithelium, rather than a global alteration of the indigenous intestinal microbiota,"-Dr.Marco
