Dengue fever also known as break bone fever is serious deadly disease caused by dengue virus and a type of vector-borne disease, each day several cases detected around the globe recently since last few weeks number patients among all age group detected in New Delhi, Gujrat, Haridwar and many more cities. Dengue is transmitted by a number of species of Mosquito which include genus Aedes, principally A. aegyptica. The virus has five different types infection with one type usually gives lifelong immunity to that type, but only short-term immunity to the others. Subsequent infection with a different type increases the risk of severe complications. As there is no commercially available vaccine, prevention is sought by reducing the habitat and the number of mosquitoes and limiting exposure to bites.
